This update is for the birds! New feathery friends are introduced to players which are sure to keep us busy planting corn & feeding Turkeys & Ducks!
New updates/changes to our Frontier include 2 new recipes in Kitchen called Summer Salad & Huntsman's Breakfast. 2 new animals (Turkey & Duck), 1 new recipe called Feather Decoration has been added to our Workshops. The textile workshop can now produce 2 fabric at a time. Another new feature added in shop is the Poultry House which works exactly the same as the Enclosure, however the Poultry House is only for the birds (chickens, turkeys & ducks).
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE POULTRY-HOUSE!! Each House starts off with a default amount limit of 10 'feed' so players can feed up to 10 birds at one time. Players can, if they wish, purchase the upgrade for 30 GF bucks, you will then be able to feed 50 birds at a time - BUT THERE IS NO NEED TO PAY FOR AN UPGRADE!! There IS A TIP whereby you can store unlimited number of animals in your poultry-house, and feed THEM ALL without purchasing the upgrade. This method is indeed tedious. Once you feed the first 10, either refresh game or go visit a neighbor, then return to your home frontier and feed another 10. You can repeat this process until all your animals are fed. This method will also work if you purchase the '50' feed upgrade and have more than 50 birds placed inside.
At this time, I do not know the actual limit of the number of birds we can put in the enclosure - I have surpassed putting 80 in my poultry-house.
IN ORDER TO PLACE FOWL/BIRDS IN POULTRY HOUSE, FIRST PLACE BIRD(S) ON FRONTIER LAND, FEED AT LEAST ONCE, THEN PLACE INSIDE POULTRY HOUSE
**Other than the need to purchase the poultry-house as part of a goal quest, there does not seem to be a feasible need for this structure, and some players find it more troublesome and inconvenient to have on their frontier land.
ANY EGGS OR FEATHERS COLLECTED FROM BIRDS WHILE INSIDE THE POULTRY-HOUSE WILL NOT COUNT TOWARDS GOALS - REMOVE BIRDS FROM POULTRY-HOUSE IF ITEMS ARE NEEDED FOR GOALS!!
Here is the build stage for Poultry-House (please note that the quest titled "House for Birds" only asks players to purchase the house, there are no goals asking players to complete building the house, nor are there goals asking players to place birds in the poultry house. It is up to the discretion of each player if they wish to complete the house and place birds inside).
We begin our journey with 2 introductory goals called: Domestic Ducks & House for Birds. This appears to be a relatively easy quest line to follow with a total of 8 goals in total. This goal is not timed - so pace yourself and take it easy.
