A new territory is available to players, called Mountain Pass. It will require 20 food to enter. Although 'land' is a bit limited, players can place structures from Productions tab in Shop.
Warm Wool is from Snow Goats. Every 30 minutes, you use SCISSORS to shear snow goats of 5 warm wool/goat. You will need quite a bit of warm wool!
Gems are obtained by using dynamite on/near geological material (pile of pinkish rocks).
Snow Goats are not the same as our Goats...Snow goats produce warm wool, whereas regular goats produce wool. We can not buy any extra snow goats. SNOW GOATS ARE PERMANENT & WILL NOT DISAPPEAR AFTER 10 'shearings'. By the completion of all Mountain Pass quests, you will have a total of 5 snow goats.
Snow is obtained by pickaxing snow drifts. Snow is also obtained by chopping snow covered fir trees (in which you will also get both sap and snow).
Lavender is required for use in Joe's Hut, as well as in the new Lavender Tea recipe new to our kitchens. Lavender can be obtained by picking purple flower bunches.
TIP: Once you have removed the Stone Blockage & have access to this snow covered area, use DYNAMITE in close proximity to both snow covered trees, snow drifts, lavender bunches & gem piles to maximize income of items without use of too much energy!
TIP: Prepare an abundance of dynamite!
TIP: As you travel through the mountain pass, you will unlock Snow Goats. These fellas like to move around and may be hard to find so as you reach levels in the pass, move them to the upper locations so you do not have to hunt for them to claim their warm wool. They will still travel, however, remain at the pass level you place them at.
There will be 12 tasks to work on. Each will bring you from warm land to snow covered passes! Players will need to unlock 2 blockages along the path:
Stone blockage
Snow blockage
The goal is to reach the top of the Mountain Pass & fully construct the Weather Station! Once fully constructed, players can claim 'income' every 24 hours (items include: gold nugget, draft,collection items, coins & experience)
