There will be 10 goals with this update, 1 being timed. Unconfirmed tentative release date: Week of Feb 15-19 (possible release on Thursday Feb 18/16

THERE IS A TIMED COMPONENT TO THIS UPDATE. Once players complete the mission to purchase the The Farmer's House, 1 out of 4 new goals that result will have a six (6) day timer attached. This timed goal is called BIG ORDER & requires players to craft 20 strong rope from the Farmer's House. If you are not ready to begin the timed portion, HOLD OFF & DO NOT BUY THE FARMER'S HOUSE until you are ready!!!

Dear friends! Hurry to meet amazing animals in our DIKOM updates! In this update: - Build a house farmer to grow Pony and Buffalo. - Care for new animals will be more comfortable in the stall. - Carrot - tasty and healthy plant. - New scenery with nice bonuses - Arch, Manger. Immerse yourself in the world of gold diggers in the game "Golden Frontier"

This new update is for the wilder side of the Frontier! Stampede along with ponies & bison/buffalo. There WILL NOT be any new territory to travel to so players can remain on Cloudy Lands if they so choose to.

Build a Farmer's House (3 build stages)& a Stall (1 build stage) and plant of the newest item to be grown...CARROTS!

New recipes have been added to our Workshop, Smithy & Textile Workshop. Other recipes required for this update will be crafted from Farmer's House & Stall .

What you should know:

- Many of the features in this update WILL BE REQUIRED for the upcoming updates being released in following weeks! If you are unable to complete all goals for The Wild, at least  get your structures built & begin raising ponies & buffalo. Please STAY TUNED to the Sneak Peek section on this blog for upcoming update information so that you can see how far in The Wild you need to progress in order to sufficiently ready you for future updates.
- Ponies & Bison can be awarded for certain goal completions. As well, they can be crafted from the Farmer's House. More importantly, you can have babies born! Simply make sure you have 2 ponies or 2 bison in their stall, feed them & they will produce a baby (which will be put into your warehouse).

HOW TO PLACE IN STALL & GET BABIES:
**CAN ONLY GET BABIES FROM ANIMALS IN STALLS, NOT FREE-ROAMING ANIMALS!
1) Place on LAND, then feed them a carrot & wait until you can claim on their 'star',
2) Then they should have the veg. forage icon over top of them, DO NOT CLICK ON THEM to feed them! Instead, MOVE them into stall.
3) Make sure you are placing 2 ponies in stall or 2 bison in stall (can't have a freak baby now!)
4) Make sure you put veg forage inside the stall so that mamma & pappa are being fed, and remember to claim & click to feed them.
5) On their last feeding, when they disappear, a baby will be placed into warehouse. IMPORTANT: They do not ALWAYS produce a baby while in stall, but more times than not, you will get one.
6) Animals will still produce fur & horsehair while inside pen
7) Any ponies/bison on LAND being fed, feed them until they are close to their last feeding, then move them into stall (this way you will get fur/horsehair & eventually a baby at the last feeding)

Vegetable Forage baskets are used to feed ponies & bison/wild buffalo. These baskets can obtained from The Farmer's House - will have more info on this as soon as build stages are complete & recipes available

TIPS!

  • Update wishlist with Leather & Packthread
  • Cabbage & Carrots are required for Vegetable forage (x5) recipe, stock up now on cabbage, then when goals comes out, plant as many carrots as you can - they have a lengthy grow time so either plant & wait or use fertilizer - stock up on Veg. Forage as you need to feed Ponies & Bison/Buffalo to get horsehair & fur!!
  • Review build stages for the Farmer's House and craft ahead what you can BEFORE you actually purchase this structure. Once you purchase it, a timer begins on an associated goal! YES YOU CAN be ready! Start stocking up on build stage items, who knows, you may even be able to build more than 1!! So get crafting the following:
For the Stall:
- 3 lassos (Farmer's House)
- 5 sharp tools (smithy)
- 2 grates (smithy)
For the Farmer's House:
- 30 brushwood (obtained from various resources, click here & look up 'Brushwood')
 - 5 axes (smithy)
 - 6 ropes (obtained from various resources, click here & look up 'Rope')
- 10 wire (smithy with this update)
- 5 tiles (pottery)
- 5 boxes (workshop)
- 4 locks (in smithy available with Sheriff update)
- 3 wooden timber (sawmill & workshop)
- 3 sharp spades (Adventurers Club)
                            • The Farmer's House will be required first in order to build the Stall
                            • Review recipes & craft where you can! The more you do now, the less you have to do later when the goal arrives.
                            • One goal asks to plant 60 carrots & 60 cabbage. Ensure you have energy on the side (see energy tip here http://goldenfrontiergameinformationindex.blogspot.ca/p/tips-hints-tricks-suggested.html) ). Also use FERTILIZER to speed up the grow times if you are limited in garden plots!
                            • Regarding goal asking players to feed pony & bison. Once you complete the introductory goal, you will receive both the pony & bison as a reward & these will be found in your warehouse. Place these on your frontier. They will require a carrot for their first feeding, then vegetable forage thereafter.
                            • PLAYERS MAY WANT TO CONSIDER BUILDING MORE THAN 1 FARMER'S HOUSE.  There is a TIMED goal to produce 20 strong rope crafted from Farmer's House), these ropes require horsehair from ponies & fur from bison, both animals are also crafted from the Farmer's House & have fairly lengthy process times..in order to stock up on horsehair & fur, you need to craft a few ponies & buffalo & ideally you may want 2 or more Farmer's House going on at the same time.
                            • As soon as possible, being crafting wire---lots of wire!

FARMER'S HOUSE build stages & recipes can be found by clicking on photo!

The STALL has one build stage. Once built, players can place 2 ponies or 2 bison inside this structure (can not place 1 pony & 1 bison). Ponies & bison must BE HUNGRY in order to place them inside the stall. This is the same setup as the Enclosure for hay-eating animals & the Poultry House for birds. There is a goal requiring players to build the stall, so whether you want to or not, if you want to rid yourself of the goal, you will build one.
                            Players will require:
                            - 3 lassos (Farmer's House)
                            - 5 sharp tools (smithy)
                            - 2 grates (smithy)

STALL build stage & info can be found by clicking on photo!
